About Team Rickety
This blog chronicles the journey of four guys - Caleb, Jason, Greg, and Tim - as they attempt to complete the BABE Rally (yet again) from the Big Apple to the Big Easy (BABE) in a rickety VW van - 1,500 miles in four days! Before they can even begin this journey, they must make it from Florida to New York without the van catching on fire... again. They will be updating this blog from the road, via iPhones, and uploading pictures to the rickety flickr pool whenever they come across a free wi-fi connection. In the meantime, read through the previous posts for a bit of history on the event and the vehicle, or check out the photos from the send off party and prep work on the van - oh and the scorch marks from the engine fire =)
